AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ORDINANCE No. 1 of 1845, Title. ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE SUPPRESSION OF THE TRIAD
AND OTHER SECRET SOCIETIES IN THE ISLAND OF HONGKONG AND
ITS DEPENDENCIES.

I. WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend the said Preamble. Ordinance No. 1 of 1845, with a view to introducing certain limitations, and giving additional certainty to its provisions:
